Dodge’s first-ever electrified vehicle is here! The all-new Dodge Hornet R/T is a plug-in hybrid crossover. It will be organized under Stellantis, and the Hornet name connects to Dodge history as a celebration of the 1970s station wagon—you might remember it from Disney’s “Cars” franchise. The Dodge Hornet Hybrid will have a starting price of about $40,00, while the Hornet GT model with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine will be less than $30,000.

ALL-ELECTRIC RAM 1500 ARRIVING IN 2024

Ram is building a fully electric 1500 pick-up. While you will have to wait a few years as the new EV will not be available until early 2024. It will have around 500 miles of total driving range and a super quick 0-60 time. It will also offer fast-charging of up to 150 kWh per hour.

The truck will have a new EV frame that puts all batteries and motors under the vehicle floor. That will leave even more space in the cabin. Ram CEO Mike Koval says this EV will surpass all other electric trucks, including the Ford F-150…

JEEP DEBUTS 2022 GRAND CHEROKEE 4XE

?Jeep is releasing an all-new Grand Cherokee 4xe. The 2022 model offers instant 4×4 torque and fuel-saving technology. This SUV will be revealed in full later this year.

Jeep also plans to release a 4xe version of all of its vehicles by 2025. This will include the upcoming Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. That means that there will also be a fully electric Wrangler BEV coming in 2025. It will have biometric recognition, peer-to-peer charging, and drone pairing capability. The 2030 model will add flat-folding seats, remote vehicle tracking, and self-driving capability.
