2021 Jeep Cherokee Power & Handling

The Cherokee can be powered by one of three engines in the 2021 model year. The base engine is a 2.4L 4-cylinder that creates 180 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. The second engine offered is a 3.2L V6 engine that pumps out 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also choose the available 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that generates 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. All engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and drivers can choose from FWD and 4WD options.

2021 Ford Escape Power & Handling

Ford also offers three engines to power the Escape. The base engine is a 1.5L 3-cylinder that creates 181 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque and comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The second engine, a 2.5L hybrid, generates 200 hp and comes mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. The final engine is a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are offered.
