The Compass offers legendary capability on and off paved roads. There’s a new Selec-Terrain toggle with auto, snow, sand, mud and rock modes. The Jeep Active Drive 4×4 system easily switches between two- and four-wheel drive. You can take on intense trails and rough weather at the drop of a hat.
NEW SAFETY FEATURES
All trims come with newly standard safety equipment, like automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and bicyclist detection. In total, there are over 75 available safety and security features. Others include blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning with active braking, LaneSense lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR UPDATES
The outside of the Compass has refreshed front and rear fascias and restyled LED lighting. It even has an updated signature seven-slot grille with new textures. The interior has an entirely new upholstered, glare-free dashboard. The new instrument panel has hand-wrapped premium bolster and slim AC vents. It’s also available in a new contrasting color scheme.
ADVANCED TECH FEATURES
This SUV has over 35 available technology features. The Uconnect system comes with an 8.4-inch or 10.1-inch touchscreen. There’s also a 10.25-inch driver information digital cluster display and a wireless charging pad. And everyone can charge their phones with the front and rear USB ports.
The Trailhawk trim has an exclusive Jeep Active Drive Low system with 4-Low mode. That gives you even better crawl ratio. Both systems let you shift all of your torque to any wheel that needs it. The Trailhawk is also Trail Rated, which means it can handle the most grueling off-road conditions.
