The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Gladiator, Ram 2500, and Chrysler Pacifica are ready to take on the great outdoors this summer. These four models have made it on Kelley Blue Book’s list of the Best Trucks, Cars, and SUVs for Camping. The Grand Cherokee and Pacifica are in the Best Cars, SUVs, and Vans for Camping category. The Gladiator and 2500 are in the Best Trucks for Camping category. Here’s what KBB has to say about the Grand Cherokee, Gladiator, 2500 and Pacifica, and what each model has to offer.



KBB says the Pacifica offers the perfect amount of space for two or more people to stretch out and sleep. The site also says it’s one of the few vans with available all-wheel drive. This minivan runs on a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. It has up to 3,600 pounds of best-in-class towing capacity. It also has the only fully automatic all-wheel drive system in its class. It sends all of the engine’s power to whichever wheels have the most traction.

KBB says the Grand Cherokee has well-known off-road capabilities and a rugged chassis. The site also says the Trailhawk is the top trim in terms of dirt prowess. This Jeep is offered with four available engines, including a 707-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Models with that engine can hit 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds, and they can reach a quarter mile in 11.6 seconds. This SUV also has 7,200 pounds of best-in-class available towing capacity. It’s even Trail Rated, which means it has exceptional traction, maneuverability, articulation, water fording, and ground clearance.

All of the available four-wheel drive systems give you the most power and control in any road and weather conditions. This SUV is equipped with a touchscreen Uconnect system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a folding back seat, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. It also comes with performance pages, a 19-speaker audio system with active noise cancellation, a power liftgate, Keyless Enter ‘n Go, remote vehicle start.

2021 RAM 2500 – STARTS AT $33,895

KBB says the 2500 is an excellent outdoors vehicle because of how it stands out from its rivals. The site also says it has a smooth-riding coil-sprung suspension, a stout four-wheel drive system, a ton of payload capacity, and great features. This truck is offered with two engines – a 410-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and a 370-horsepower 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel I6. The diesel also kicks out an incredible 850 lb.-ft. of torque. And, it can haul a massive 19,860 pounds.

You can build almost every trim with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. There are also different cab and box sizes. So, you can completely customize the 2500 to fit your needs.
